Vincent Girardin
Again, deep color. A typical rustic Santenay nose, fragrant and perfumed. earth and mint on the palate. Silky, very ripe cherry chocolate with a very juicy fruit presence. Quite long on the palate, very, very sweet and a little bit raisined. lovely, succulent acidity; lovely for its appellation.
Wine Spectator
Lovely sweet cherry and cassis notes are supported by a vibrant structure. Silky and persistent, with ripe tannins firming up the lingering, licorice- and spice-tinged finish. Best from 2011 through 2022.
